Pilates II is for those with at least 2 months of Pilates experience, or
6-12 beginner classes (see Pilates for
Everyone).
Building on the Pilates principles of using your body's powerhouse to control movements, increase strength, and improve flexibility and posture, this class will take you through 30-40 Pilates mat exercises, from beginner through advanced -- using modifications when necessary. Pacing and exercise modifications will be used to customize this class to fit the students' needs, with the goal of strengthening each participant to an intermediate/advanced level.
